Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that there will be ways for the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline to cross the completion stages. He said that Pakistan and Iran have a long history of relations. The President of Iran wanted them to hold a big meeting, but we could not arrange some things due to security concerns.

He said that terrorism is our common problem and that it needs to be controlled. Both brotherly countries will fight terrorism together. It does not matter if anyone is hurt by the visit of the Iranian president. And pain must be treated.

Khawaja Asif said that it was a successful visit by the President of Iran. There is insecurity in our region; the interference of big powers has increased; and we must gather on a common platform to protect our interests. In this situation, Iran’s president’s visit to Pakistan was a great development.

In response to a question, Khawaja Asif said that when the Afghan Taliban conquered Kabul, I tweeted that the powers are yours and God is ours. I still stand by this tweet of mine. He said that the people who are not behind the rich countries defeated the superpower; it was the victory of the oppressed, which I praised. The victory of the Taliban in Kabul is still praised today.

He further said that the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is attacking here due to the direct or indirect control of Afghanistan. The outlawed TTP is spreading insecurity and terrorism in Pakistan. The Defense Minister said that it is the duty of Pakistan to support Palestine. The genocide that is happening in Gaza today is unprecedented in the history of the world.
