Engineering Students at UET Mardan Showcase Innovative Projects, Including Aerial Firing Detection System and Mind-Controlled Wheelchair, at Science Fair.

A science fair was held at the University of Engineering and Technology Mardan. On this occasion, the final-year engineering students showed their project. They said that through this, the location of aerial firing can be found because aerial firing often proves fatal during weddings in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. By installing the project in police stations, the location of a gunshot will be detected within 10 seconds of firing.

Commissioner Mardan Division Shaukat Ali Yousafzai was the chief guest on the occasion and inspected the various stalls of the science fair. The students exhibited the designs of the new scientific instruments they invented at the science fair.

Other students also told Commissioner Mardan Division about their invented devices. The university students have also developed a wheelchair that can be used by disabled people with legs and hands. This chair will move under the patient’s mind with the help of Bluetooth and sensors.
