Israel refused to accept the decision of the International Court of Justice to stop the military operation in Rafah. The International Court of Justice ordered Israel to stop military operations in Rafah. The International Court of Justice ruled on South Africa’s request to stop the Israeli operation in Rafah.

The International Court of Justice delivered the decision by a majority of 2–13. The decision was read out by Justice Nawaf Salam of the International Court of Justice on the application. The decision said that the Israeli army must immediately stop the military operations in Rafah in the Gaza Strip. The court also ordered Israel to open the Rafah border crossing immediately.

However, Israel refused to accept the decision of the International Court of Justice. According to foreign media reports, Israeli Finance Minister Smitrich says that the cease-fire order cannot be implemented under any circumstances. The Israeli finance minister said that stopping the war in the Gaza Strip would mean erasing Israel from the face of the earth, and time would expose those who sided with Hamas.
