The Canadian PM’s statement on the arrest of Indian citizens in the Hardeep Najar murder case has angered the Indian Foreign Minister

Following the arrest of three Indian nationals implicated in the murder of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nagar in Canada, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asserted that the Constitution governs the country. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s statement has come out after the arrest of three Indian citizens involved in the murder case of Hardeep Singh Nagar by the Modi government in Canada.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asserted that the Constitution governs Canada, which boasts a robust and independent justice system. On the other hand, while reacting to the Canadian Prime Minister’s statement, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that Canada accuses us but does not provide evidence. Jaishankar stated that we will await the Canadian police’s testimony regarding the Indian individuals detained in Canada for the Sikh leader’s murder.

Two days ago, the Canadian police arrested three Indian citizens who were involved in the murder case of Hardeep Singh Najar, a pro-Khalistan Sikh leader in Canada. Canadian media reports that a hit squad, consisting of drivers, shooters, and watchers, killed Hardeep Singh Nagar at the gate of Gurunanak Gurdwara in June last year, following instructions from the Indian government.

Two different provinces made the arrests in the Najar murder case on Friday, charging Kamal Preet Singh, Kiran Preet Singh, and Kiran Brar with first-degree murder and conspiracy.
