Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam equaled India’s Virat Kohli’s record in T20 internationals. Babar Azam equaled Kohli for the highest fifty-plus score in T20 internationals.

The Pakistan captain scored a fifty in the first T20 match against Ireland, his 38th fifty-plus score in his 108th T20 international innings. India’s Virat Kohli has scored 38 plus in 109 T20 international innings.

Kohli converted only one of his 38 fifties into a century, while Babar Azam converted three-digit scores three times. Babar Azam’s fifty-plus-score century was also completed in the overall T20s. He is the fourth player to score 100 or more times in T20Is.

David Warner and Chris Gayle scored 110 and 110 fifty-plus scores, respectively, while Virat Kohli scored 50-plus scores 105 times in total in T20Is. Chris Gayle converted 22 fifties into centuries in total T20s; Babar Azam converted 11 fifty-plus scores into triple digits; Virat Kohli converted nine fifties into hundreds; and David Warner converted eight times.
